More than a few old large format lenses have these shutters including my 65 mm F8 Schneider Super Angulon which has a Compur. The shutters may have passed (Copal has been the shutter of choice for the last 25 years) but the standard lives on. "There's never time to do it right. But there's always time to do it over."

A mating Nikon screwlock cord plugs, then can be screwed into the terminal to ensure it doesn't slip off.
