This is in relation to my Quick and Easy Border Tutorial found here:
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=477194

Now to add your logo.

Start

Start with an image that is ready to go and flattened. I started with an image that was 838 pixels by 572 pixels in size and that already has a border. Also, have your logo file ready and saved in a location that won't change (your action script won't find the file when you run it if you've moved/deleted the logo file).

Open your actions pallet and start a new action and name it as you wish:

IMAGE: http://www.scottkroeker.com/photos/logotutorial/a.gif

Open up your logo file: File > Open (CTRL+O). With your logo file opened, select all (CTRL+A) and copy (CTRL+C) the image. Now close (CTRL+W) the logo file and go back to your working image. Now paste the logo (CTRL+V). This will paste the logo in the center of your image on a new layer.

Now to align the logo on the image. To do this, you'll need to select both the logo layer and background image layer. Open your Layer's Pallet and select both layers.

Next, align the layers. Layer > Align > Bottom Edges. For this tutorial I am aligning the logo to the bottom. You can align them to where ever you want.

NOTE: If you don't want your logo align exactly to the edge of your image, simple use your arrow keys to fine tune the position of the logo.

Now flatten your image and stop recording of your action.

End

I love this it is easy to follow. Thanks...
One question....I've tried to combining the action for making a border and this one.
It works but if I don't pay enough attention and my foreground color is not black then it changes my frame color in any color my foreground is in. Instead of the black I want to use.....is that "normal" or am I doing something wrong????

If you insert the "D" shortcut into your action, it will set your colors to the default Black foreground/white background.

For anyone without photoshop, try the batch editor in the freeware editor Photoscape.

(www.photoscape.org (external link)) Great for stuff like this, but probably not quite as flexible of course.
