my foreground color remains white after i kept it as transparent. what gives?

You are referring to your "logo file"? In that case, I think you mean "background color"?

Did you save it as a .png or other format that supports transparency? (jpg doesn't)

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I followed each step, and successfully created an action to add and position my logo. The action works fine when I run it by pressing the play button, but I am encountering a stoppage when I try to run a batch process to add my logo to other images. The error I'm getting is "The command 'Paste' is not currently available." If I click continue instead of stop, then it just continues to tell me each subsequent command is unavailable. I'm perplexed...can you help? I have NOT moved the location of the original logo file.
