So I got my new camera in today! :D So I just wanted to play around with it a little bit and this is what I got... I know they're not the best pictures... but I thought they were kinda cute.

just my 2 cents. You take great photographs and these are cute and all, but this day and age I wouldn't be posting pics of my young daughter on a public forum like this. I don't want to stirr things up but there are a lot of Sick people who might miss use these photo's.

Lovely pix... I don't see anything wrong with them aesthetically or morally.

The pictures are sweet and obviously innocent, but for what it's worth, I agree with chef21... some of the same pros of the internet - diverse audience - are also some of the cons. I would at least place a really obnoxious watermark over them so they cannot be printed, copied, pasted onto an innappropriate site, etc... when it comes to children I am always overly cautious, though, which is a direct result of the nature of my work :( . It's a shame really that the we have to assume the worst could happen when it's much more pleasant to assume the best in everyone, but, unfortunately that's not always the case. As for the technique and composition... I think the first is beautiful.

Cute pics...I find the pics very cute and tasteful and personally I think they are innocent enough to prevent any sicko from taking them out of context. It would sicken me to think that someone could take an innocent young childs naked bum and make something more of it than a cute pic. Anyways, great pics...very cute :)

I agree - it sickens me too... but it's best not to be too naive on this subject. There is nothing morally wrong with taking these pictures or even posting these pictures. I think they are beautiful and will create a wonderful addition the family memories of the child's innocent youth. BUT as sick and twisted as it makes our tummies feel about what someone could think or do with pictures like these, it DOES happen... just be cautious. No need to panic or even delete them IMO... just protect them in every way possible.

I'm sorry... I didn't mean to offend anyone if I did... and I know you guys are in the right place... I guess I as a sheltered young parent don't really think about that when I posted these b/c well I see it all the time and just don't think anything of it. I will just delete the offensive ones if they are too much. again thank you for the comments and concerns... I'll try not to let it happen again.

No one thinks these in any way are offensive, I think people were just thinking of the safety and privacy of your daughter. There are alot of strange people out there.

Absolutely not offended here I though they were beautiful shots. My concern is for you and some mildly bent righteous warrior of decency hitting the "report" key. I've read a few of the nightmares parents have gone through because of over zealous freaks out there.

They were great shots LM.
