This is the first photo I've submitted on this forum. This gentleman, Roscoe Brown flew P-51 fighter aircraft during the second world war. The photo was taken at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in Columbus, OH on 09/29/08. There has been no post work done on it (I don't think) since I know anything (other than cropping) about Photoshop. Please feel free to work with it if you wish. All critiques are most welcome.

Just a bit of contrast and some color boost.....

I totally agree with Flo-a wonderful sharp portrait of a remarkable man.

I would be so happy to have made that and would have a 16x20 print on my wall right now.

I think Flo was technically wrong in posting her modification of the picture since you don't have "IMAGE EDITING OK" turned on. I was ready to post my alteration for you and when I couldn't have said it better than she, I stopped. But for her, I would have done it. In both of our defenses, you did say "Please feel free to work with it if you wish. All critiques are most welcome."

So, Im sure that's what you wanted.

Agree, a true American Hero. Nice image, well posed.

I'll bet he has some stories to tell.

Generally speaking, the "Saturation" slider in most software packages will raise the overall color amount.

Some allow you to do it to individual color channels (Reds, Blues, Greens, etc) and some even break it down into Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Orange and so on.

Thanks everyone, I do appreciate help for my photos...thus my invitation to work with it. I think I'll go figure out how to turn on "Image Editing OK".
