After the girls seen the basketball one, they all wanted one for golf.

I shot them over the weekend, was nice, it was interesting that the female golfers were so friendly, quite unlike the stereotype I had of golfers... like, rich, stuck up, proud, etc...

Well, I had a golf cart that had "Media" tag on it, and I stuck the "magazine" covers that I made for the team all over the windscreen of the golf cart. It was a good cover to say that I was supporting the team, but more like a shameless plug to advertise myself. The girls from the other colleges that were in the same flight as my girls were all looking at it, so were the coaches :D

just got this one done... started out with the hardest girl, because she was injured most of the season and I only had a handful of her images to play with... hopefully, the next one will be better...

Very nice work, I can see you getting a lot of requests for this type of image. Again nice job!

^ it's a "new" product to them, so they're excited, but I think my efforts will go down the drain, because when they see the price for prints...

thanx, but I don't really like what I did... I hope the next few ones will be better, because I get a wider selection of images to work with.

Just thinking out loud but why not do them in a little more traditional portrait-oriented style with one large follow through shot in the middle with the golfer's name across the bottom (using a nice, clean font with a touch of drop shadow.)

Then, if you really want to, you could add some smaller B&W action shots in the four corners.

While there are "teams," Golf is really an individual sport and most of the really good golfers I've known would love to have a nice, big, juicy poster of themselves in full follow through having just smacked the sh*t out of a drive.

You could offer nice team group shots as a separate product...

Like I said, just tossin' it out there...

It feels too crowded. Too many pics and not enough space between them.

Looks great.

What about creating some depth? Every image is close to the same size and because the lower left image is larger my eye goes directly to it, which is great. But the others are all the same to me and I have a hard time settling on one image. You have a great shot of the golf ball that could be used for some nice background or separating effects. The text could you something more. I find that the text can be one of the best parts to really make a poster pop. Putting a shape that is similar to a putting green or a fairway in the corners would be a great place to put text and could really make a nice subtle effect. (that part is hard to explain).

Hope this helps. my $.02

Adam

Too busy, too choppy. I would simplify much like FyingPhotog stated. A couple of images of the individual golfer with her best image the main focal point.

From a group poster standpoint...its nothing new... but have the team picture in the bottom center and surround them with individual shots of each player. It looks like there are 6-7 players so that should be easy to do. Then you have a team poster and one for each individual girl.
