I shoot nba games and since I don't use the strobes I have to have my shutter set to 1/500 to freeze the action. The ISO also had to go up to 1600 and I was using f/2.8 but I had to in order to get a decent shot.

Crit-wise, your horizons are off which will have to be fixed and you're getting a considerable amount of softness on your main subjects. You really need to get on taht center point and then just keep practicing. It'll get there so don't worry, just keep shooting and work on steady hands and good timing. Scott Evans Photography
