My street sees a lot of action. Movies are filmed here often. Shooter
, I, Robot
etc. This week it is "I love you Beth Cooper".
I don't really care for the movie, but the action around is fun. They've blocked off my street again and given me a special pass to come and go with the car and such.
Wet road car chase at night. Filming along the street and in the car. I haven't seen the car rig in action yet, it happens long after I go to bed. The action goes from 6pm until 6am. A little noise form generators and the floodlights make me draw the blinds - but all in, it keeps my life from getting boring. It's all part of living in the city called "Hollywood North".
You can see the rig flying past my front door in the last shot. All cars are stationary waiting for the go ahead. You can see the giant light boom in the distance too. The cross street there (L to R) is the street Mark Wahlberg goes flying down, running from the Secret Service in Shooter
- then ends up in the river. Lots of light filters the size of freezers, scrims the size of cars. All big goodies I'd like to have.

And this is one of the benches you see in #5, right out front of my building. The benches have Asimov's laws of robotics on them recognizing I,Robot. Apparently a gift from the production crew to the city.

. Great shots Cos, what movie was this? Oh about I Robot, I never saw the film, but I read the book long ago. Judging from the trailer, the movie is very, very different from the book.
