Not a bad deal for the 2GB versions:

Decent reseller ratings too.

I was thinking of getting a few more SanDisk Ultra II 2GB Cards, but there are some mixed reviews on Geeks.Com seller ratings.....

Has anybody used Geeks.Com before ??

Yeah - I would like to hear of a successfully completed transaction before placing an order.

Ive used to purchase computer stuff, and tech toys from them a few years ago without a problem. As far as my experiance goes, they have been reputable to me in the past.

Well the charge hit my CC yesterday so we'll see when the cards arrive....
Edit: I just got a tracking number as well. Seems legit to me so far :-)

Looks like same shipping on 1 or 10 too. Over 49.99 qualifies for 1.99 shipping?

Ok. They finally arrived and here is the scoop:
1. All six cards arrived loose inside one large plastic case that was sealed with a sticker and labeled "bulk" with the order date and a bar code.
2. All six appeared to be legit. They match my other cards exactly. All six have the same lot number on the side.
3. Alarmed and a little miffed about the lack of packaging and paperwork, I called SanDisk to verify their legitimacy. According to SanDisk they are legitimate cards. Their technical rep suggested that they got their hands on a bulk shipment and that everything is indeed valid, normal, and on the up-and-up.
4. Checking back to the Geeks.com site, you will see that they state "Plain Box" so I guess I should have seen that part coming.

I used the cards in our PC and our camera and they work as expected. I guess my only remaining concern is my lack of paperwork should I ever need warranty work. My guess is that SanDisk will honor any claims as long as I have the legit card???

Conclusion, save a few bucks per card but you don't get paperwork or traditional packaging.

You said they are loose which means no standard packaging, but did each card come in the small plastic protective case or does loose mean no plastic case ?

They are without retail packaging but the cards do include the plastic cases..... Yeah. I picked up 4 at $15 on black friday as well. This is the first time I have seen them cheaper than that.

loose huh? Have you tried to check the speed on them. It sounds like they might be fakes.

The speed seems up to par. I thought they were fakes as well but they don't exhibit any of the tell-tale signs.... labeling is perfect, speed is as-expected, no wear on the contacts, shape and size of all elements on the card are identical to current cards, AND SanDisk verified that they are legitimate...

He posted above that he verified with SanDisk that they were real. I am going to have to grab a couple of these - doubt I will see them lower than this for quite some time. The 2GB cards have kind of fallen out of favor with shooters it seems.
