Seems BH jacked up their prices about half way into the rebate period, and they are now returning to pre-rebate pricing.

I figured as much as if you will notice these are the newer released 30MB/sec Extreme III cards. The first released ones where 20MB/sec cards.

It seems like the rebate period has been extended. The new form doesn't show any time frame for purchases. Does anyone else see the same thing?

Heck I can't even read it at my monitors resolution but it states: Sandisk Optional Mail-In Rebate (Expires 04/05/08 )

After reading zoomed in take note that the SKU numbers do not matchup with the reabte requirements. I assume this is a mistake. _ the SKU numbers of the rebate apply to the discontinued Extreme III cards.

Spoke with a B&H rep that said the MIR could be used with the newer SKU numbered cards even though the rebate form says different _

As an update to this it seems B&H Photo has goofed with this current Rebate offer on these cards. I spoke with both SanDisk and their rebate processing company and this rebate isn't valid as it uses the same exact Promotion Number 41187 as the rebate that expired 3/30/2008.

Prices are coming down as capacity gets larger. I picked up some 4 gig Extreme II cards for $28 at costco. I believe prices will continue to fall because the larger capacity cards prices will have to fall to be able to sell hence the lower capcity cards will also fall in price.
