I just imported them from and kept them int "the same location" and they are now in both LR's. I assume that is the right way to do it.

Very likely. If they weren't intending on charging, I think they'd go with a 1.x version release. I just hope they refine keyword searching a little more (AND searching is a bit better, as you can create multiple "keyword" columns, and select between them... but that's STILL clunkier than ability to have a single list with check marks next to them, rather than scrolling up and down through the lists to enable/disable keywords... for my use at least.)
