I like them all. They are sharp, exposure looks good and there are some
good action going on.
I guess you did not shoot these through the glass?

Thank you..

All were taken with 1dmiii and the canon 70-200 2.8L attached...

ISO: 2000 (Noise Ninjered - Low setting/no sharpening)
1/1000 and 1/800 @ f3.2

I know i could lower the ISO, but i prefer the higher shutter speeds...especially for shots like No: 3

One of the good things about these uniforms, is the provide a good amount of contrast for the camera to lock on to...

Thanks for looking...

Thanks,

All shot through glass!!! Very clean glass and I like to put the lens hood directly against it to avoid reflection.

reallllly clean glass.

At all the rinks I go to, the glass is horrible. So I will get up high or get in the bench/penalty box.

When I shoot our local team, I use a ladder to get above the plastic type Glass...trully horrible.

When I shoot Bundesliga, clear polished glass......heaven....

You mind posting some from the ladder? Do you set the ladder behind the goalie or on the side boards? Behind our goalie we have the glass then of course the netting.

I wouldnt know if it would be a problem to stand on a ladder to get above the boards in our area. There are some rinks that have the stands above the glass already, so I can pretty much shoot from my front row seat.

Great shots. I always like the ones where the stick is flexing. It never ceases to amaze me with the amount of advertising on the European jerseys
