I never tried to photograph the city at sunset, but this past weekend, I finally decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, clouds moved in since we were expecting a storm. The sunset wasn't what I expect, but I will go back another time to photograph it again. This photo is comprised of eight seperate shots which were photographed in portrait orientation mode. I then stitched them together via Photoshop.

C+C welcome.

You did a great job stitching. I would have to suggest that when you go back to get the whole bridge. This picture seems incomplete.

As a previous poster stated, nice technical execution. However, to me the composition is lacking. I want to either see more of the bridge or skyline. It seems kind of in limbo and not really sure which is the main attraction. Also, I would lower the horizon a bit, the water looks flat and doesn't warrant that much space in the photo IMHO. Nice attempt, looking forward to seeing your next.

(ps where were you exactly when photographing that image?)

Nice shot of my hometown there - I'm about 30 miles south of you along the Delaware, on the "joisey" side...just posted a sunset in the "show us your best sunsets" thread..I want to get up to Philly one of these days when the weather is better and the trees start to bud and the skirts start to get shorter.. :)

Thanks for the replies. I didn't feel that the entire bridge should have been included in the photo (but to each's own). I did re-work the photo a little bit and cropped out more of the water since I felt the skyline was too centered in the photo. I also included a little more sky, but nothing drastic.

This was shot by the Camden Aquarium/Campbell's Field overlooking the Philadelphia skyline.

Very nice pano. I'm not convinced that the whole bridge needs to be in it, I like the scene how it is.
