I've never been a fan of HDR, but got bored and decided to play with it. After a few days I've come to the conclusion that HDR can either make or break the picture.
So did I make or break this picture? C&C please.
*Warning: HDR newb posting.

So good use of the HDR. As for the previous comments about the brick and the corner lights, this can be easily fixed in photoshop. Mask and select the areas you want to adjust (the brick and corner lights) and use the selective color adjustment and maybe the saturation adjustment as well to cool down the reds/oranges a little. I think it will look awesome then. ![]() Thanks! I'll give that a shot tonight. samsen wrote in post #5248283 HDR is Love or Hate business in a very narrow spectrum of choice. Your image is by far picture looking than full flagged HDR. Indeed it is. Thank you! PhotosGuy wrote in post #5248441 The car looks good! Is that to say that the picture looks good, too? Or no? hah ancientsanskrit wrote in post #5249220 The sidemarkers are a bit too high contrast for my tastes, but other than that, it looks great! I'll tone them down a bit. n1nj4 m0d3 wrote in post #5249378 yes, it's a tow hook i think it's a bit over saturated. other than that, great job ![]() Probably because I'm using a notebook monitor. Though I have to ask what do you expect when posting this in a sub-forum full of automobile nuts? Perhaps next time your subject should be a 1989 Ford Aerostar or a vehicle of equal stature! I'm pretty sure you'll get feedback only on the merit of the photograph and not the vehicle!!! (Though there might be buffoons like me who have owned one and will sneak in the inevitable, "nice van!") ![]() LOL, funny you mention that. My uncle actually has an '89 Aerostar. He lives 10 minutes away. Maybe I should snatch it from him to snap some pix. X100s | X-Pro1 | X-T1 | XF 14 | XF 18 | XF 35 | XF 56 | XF 60 | XF 10-24
