LOL, funny you mention that. My uncle actually has an '89 Aerostar. He lives 10 minutes away. Maybe I should snatch it from him to snap some pix. :p

Maybe you missed my thread with this baby ;):

lol...Nice Caravan!

I literally almost spit my water out when I saw this picture! Hah, that's great!

I can't shoot at the beach. For some reason, I attract beach bums and their Geiger counters.

I've never been a fan of HDR, but got bored and decided to play with it. After a few days I've come to the conclusion that HDR can either make or break the picture.

QUOTED IMAGE

So did I make or break this picture? C&C please.

*Warning: HDR newb posting.

a well exposed shot will look better than that so rather than being a crap photographer people should learn to take pictures properly rather than using software

This looks good - you said you used photomatix - try using blended exposures rather than HDR with photomatix - I've gotten some great results that way, where the HDR function, even with minimal tone mapping, gave my images a "candy" look that I hate.

ninja edit - what's that in the center of the bumper? clone that out!

It is the tow hook. I don't know why but people take the small cover off and install the tow hook. I don't get it but I see it a lot.

Take the darn tow hook out, they are meant to only be used when needed, hence why they are removable on most sports cars and luxury cars.

All that shows a fellow car person is that your ride is in need of a tow quite often, and I dont think anyone wants to convey that image! :p

Started out as just a picture of our van...did a curves adjustment on the sky, did a black and white treatment to the building, did other adjustments to the car and foreground, and added the lighting bolt. Oh, and added the logo to the building. I always get a chuckle when I see it :).

The bright spot in the brick over the car draws my eyes. The actual car looks good.
