I wouldn't call any of them "obsessions" but... motorcycles, golf and camping to name a few...

Photography is eating all my spending money...

I'm still into cars though, I'm a detailer so I love to detail my impala and hang out with friends, talk about cars..

I'm also into electronics probably like 99% of everybody else on here.. big screen, stereos, etc.

For me it's drumming (and to go with it, of course, a formidable arsenal of snare drums, cymbals and drumkits, both vintage and contemporary). I'm a weekend warrior, gigging with a jazz quartet actively on weekends.

And then there's our menagerie -

a Bulldog...

IMAGE: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y28/b_d_bop/DocwithRose.jpg

...a Sphynx cat...

IMAGE: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y28/b_d_bop/Bocce2-11-08_sm.jpg

...and a foul-mouthed African Grey parrot.

Now add the photography and there's not a minute left in the day nor a dollar left in the wallet.

I have 2 other obsessions outside photography. The first is Ice hockey which involves playing (less these days) and mostly coaching. My second is weight training/bodybuilding.

My obsession for photography has made it a full-time job in addition to my other full-time job so that has severely limited my time for my other obsessions. Only 244 days until I can retire from my other job. :)

I love computer racing games and I use a Thomas Super Wheel - the same one a lot of the NASCAR drivers use when they race online. http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/ (external link)

My obsession with movies can share the time with photography since I have a DirecTV DVR and TV in my home office.

I need more time for cycling and working on my garden railroad.

I have a few more minor obsessions including home theater, music, NASCAR, and collecting microbrew and foreign beer bottles (empty of course :)).

Bill - A model needs careful lighting, professional makeup and expensive clothes to look as beautiful as any ordinary woman does to a man who has fallen in love with her.

Nice! I was going to be surprised if I was the first one to mention being a musician on the side.

Drumming is one of my other obsessions as well. Half of my band graduated last year (I'm in my last year of college), so I'm not gigging now. But one of the largest criteria for picking my house was based on being able to play my drums, so now I'm out in the middle of nowhere, it's great! I picked up an exotic Bapeva shell drumset over the summer, I love it's sound.

I'm also a self-proclaimed chef and food critic, my cooking is basically what roped my girlfriend in.

I try to keep fairly active also. I snowboard and mountain bike a lot. And of course, I love college sports, especially Virginia Tech (hence the screen name).

Prestidigitation - mostly cards, XCM, some coins, money, but always common household items

Ice Hockey for me too but I'm slowing down as well. I'm just an old guy that doesn't know when to quit.
