Good eye. Top is a Savage 10FP LE2 in .308. Black/Silver is a modded Ruger 10/22 with a heavy barrel. I love the Savage. The accu-trigger is awesome as well!

I like to do a little shooting as well when it's not hunting season. I'm partial to shotguns and Sporting Clays, but don't mind pulling the trigger on just about anything in my arsenal.

Cruising in the motorhome we tow a jeep so we can visit ghost towns and old mine sites. We are also gold prospectors and rockhounds. I am learnig to turn rock into finished stones for jewelry.
Retired from it now but coached ayso, club, and high school soccer for many years.
If I ever have the space i think I might try model railroading.

Guitars, but each of the 4 I have so far cost less than the cheapest of my L lenses.

Might I suggest you invest in a Dudenbostel. One of these will buy you every L lens on the market.

If you like the 17hmr you will absolutely love the .204. My savage 12 is about a 13lb rifle shooting a 9lb recoil round. It's a lot of fun watching the impact through the scope at 300 yards.

For me, music, movies, POTN, woodworking, my wife. Not necessarily in that order.
