I like it a whole lot! Not too flashy, but get the attention. Where did you order these? Do they have different designs?

Lots of empty space, phone number and website being in different places throws me off. Good neutral grey and white schema.

I got them at https://www.4cusa.com/ (external link) Kev is giving special pricing for MM users. I designed it myself but he do have designers

+2 you don't need to advertise for Canon...unless of course they are paying you...and what if they are Coolpix shooters. :p

Agree with the above posters on the equipment on the card. Kinda pretentious. Otherwise I like the colour scheme and all that.

and it's only a 5d... perhaps a shot of the studio lights instead? after all, that's half your work right there..

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Unless you walk the streets nude you advertise daily the decals on you car your shoes and every time you pull out your camera its a part of life. And as far as them being coolpix shooters I could care less what they shoot with but if this is what they are judging me by well I have my 7y/o grandson make up some card with Coolpix pictures on them and they can hire him(someone will have to show him which button to push)

So should I have put a MarkIII on it would that make me a professional But i will quote another member "I really fail to see an issue with this. More than likely the only people to notice this fact are here, or other photographers that I gives the cards to. One assumes that most cards would hopefully go to potential clients who more than likely are only going to see a camera. Not a 5D unless it is jewel encrusted."

Right, then its a good thing you've got the cameras there. Because I couldn't tell by reading "photography" twice, "capturing the moment", "portraits/fashion/glamour/fine arts" and seeing a picture of a woman posing that you were a photographer. Without the images of cameras my first instinct would be that you are a plumber.

My point was that it clearly states on your card, in text, that you are a photographer. The cameras don't add anything to the card and just take away from it's professionalism IMO. There is no reason to have them on there. I don't appreciate getting little witty retorts when I'm trying to make a valid point that I think many others agree with. People say not to use any images on a card for a reason, and adding cameras onto it to say "hey im a photographer" is kind of redundant. But hey, go for it.

My apology I wasn't out to belittle you. But have you ever wondered why companies put pictures on brochures, to catch your attention at a distance. Of course if you have the card in your hand to read you can read everything on it. but from a distance at a glance or in a low lit room you wont be able to read it. Its all about drawing attention. Next time you go into a motel that have one of them bowls or briefcases for you to put your card in take a look and see which ones stand out. If your business card doesn’t stand out in a pile filled with other cards then the chances are people won’t remember you by looking at your business card. You need to make your card unique somehow. And I don't know how many cards you have seen in your life but i can say I have seen a lot and most have pictures, drawing or insignia. Auto dealers have car on theirs or the manufacturer insignia, real estate agents, and the list goes on. As far as what others say take at these do some research before doing what others say and then make up your own mind to be different You might even stand out

Have you taken a look at it at actual size, yet?

At actual business card size, most of that text will be very difficult to read due to the font size and weight.
