My boss bought her labrador pup to work yesterday so I took him out for a walk at lunchtime in an attempt to get a few pics...

I got a handful I'm happy with but being a puppy he didn't quite grasp basic concepts like sit, stay, look over here etc... although he seems to have mastered the art of sticking his wet nose in the lens :confused:

These are my faves, C&C most welcome, first one is a bit soft but I love the expression...

Aww, he is cute (but I am partial to black labs, as I have one myself!). Black dogs in general are hard to photograph, I find that I have to slightly overexpose in order to get the details on their faces.

I think you did a nice job, I really like the second photo.

HAHAHA- he's a cutie. I love the look on his face in the first one!!!!

And yes- both of my dogs have mastered the "Get daddy's lens snotty" move...

Those are very good "pics" (especially for him being black). :cool:

I have four labs and taking pictures is kind of like what you said, "I had to grab what I could." ;)
