It's been a while so.......

I had the pleasure of shooting a local tournament on the weekend, here's a few samples. EXIF should be intact, my apologies for the large watermarks, these were all saved for my website and posting here was an after thought

These are great shots. Sharp and action packed.

300 f4? A friend has the lens and says its a sharp as a tack. Though we wouldn't always get the nice weather to use it

Yeah the 300f/4L IS. i'm in love with it! sharp as a tack, even with a 1.4x for cricket, naturally i want a 2.8 but i cannot fault the f/4 and the bokeh is still not too bad at all.

Picture quality is great, my only comment would be....perhasp the white on the second it just that a bit to white. Focus on all of them is spot on.
Looks like the 300mm was a good buy.

As always Ken great comments and something to think about. I shot a local league game last week which I have on my site but haven't got round to posting any on here as yet and I just got home from another today which I hope to share later in the week.
