I did an event shoot late yesterday afternoon and got the sun at a low angle in the sky.

I was shooting with a Canon 30D, Canon 300 2.8L at ISO 250 f3.2 at 1/1000.

Thanks, Jason. The thing is a monster though. Takes getting used to trying to whip that thing around with such a narrow angle of view. You get used to shooting with both eyes open so you can follow the action.

Yuppers. I shot from the dugout on the third base side. The sun was low in the sky at the time and offered some pretty nice lighting.

so they allowed you in the dugout? good to know I am shooting a game there Monday Night about the same time.
