So the weather was as nice as it gets in early April, and me and my girlfriend were bored. We decided to take the day and head down to the Toledo Zoo, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Here are a few of my favorites from what I managed to capture. Some of the pictures didn't turn out so well, since a lot of the animals used to warmer weather were indoors (Maybe early April is not the best time for Giraffe's.)

#1 - Polar Bear having some fun with a block

#2 - Orang walking around, enjoying his time outside

#3 - I loved the coloring of this bird. He was a sport and decided to sit still for us.

#4 - Meerkat relaxing lazily.

#5 - Panther Chameleon, being stealthy.

Advice, criticism and everything welcome.

Nice images, really like the polar bear taking a dip. Nice work, thanks for sharing.

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)

They're all really good. For the chameleon, did you use auto focus and aim at him through the trees? or did you go manual? I ask cause you did a nice job avoiding those foreground leaves. Is this the 70-200 F4 L?

Yeah, it was auto focus, on the center point. I actually was able to focus on his lip, and just kept the focus while he was very slowly walking around.

All shots were taken with the 70-200 F4 L.
