Hi all, went to visit my mom in Memphis Tennessee and did the obligatory Graceland visit. I took a couple of shots of the wall and was wondering what some of your opinions my be of the original color version or B&W conversion.

C&C and editing ok!

Im always a fan of B/W pics. Did you use the infrared setting in the PP on the second pic?

I too appreciate B&W and indeed had that in mind when i took the pics. The first one just doesn't seem to have the contrast between the wall and the mansion\yard in the background that I invisioned. So I'm thinking the color version helps to seperate the two. I dunno.

And no the second one was just a 'Channel Mixer' conversion in PSCS2. With a touch of dark boost in 'Levels'.

I say B&W on both - the lawns are not a nice colour of green yet and IMO, stone / rock / brick often look better in B&W anyway.
