This hawk is not uncommon in Antigua, but he is pretty damned hard to get close to, so I was really happy with this series.
The images are quite heavily cropped, because I was still quite a distance away taking these, up in the mountains. So the image quality isn't as good as it should be, but hey, sometimes you have to compromise.
It has a local name of "chicken hawk"
...Unfortunately it didn't take him long to realise I was no chicken, and he flew away quite quickly.
