i was under the impression that khromagery was still up and running and just have slacked on updating their website (www.khromagery.com.au (external link)), but it seems that it may be possible that david burren (the owner and founder) may've died in his last trip southeast asia.

...bummer. i really hope this is not the case as this man was one of the very few still fighting for pure monochrome sensors to return.

i am looking for deep bw ir filter conversion for a camera he specialized in and the biggest turn of events, LIFEPIXEL WON'T DO THE CONVERSION.

the camera in question would be canon's powershot pro1.

they told me they do not do conversions on this camera and when i had asked for the deep bw ir filter to give the conversion a shot for myself, they told me they do not have it.

...

so they don't do deep bw ir conversions anymore?

i am in dire need of getting an 87c/870nm filter thrown onto the sensor of this camera and any and ALL help would be appreciated.

otherwise, i just wasted a lot of money a discontinued "compact" camera.

thanks to all who've read and to those that may be able to help!

(if anyone personally knows david burren, please let me know.)

David Burren is not dead. Apologies to anyone who has not received a reply to emails over the past couple months -- there have been a few technical glitches with both incoming and outgoing mails! Please retry your mail, or contact me on jane@burren.cx (external link) with your query.
