I am a Rebel owner and now I'm interested in purchasing the 20D, but want to first make sure the lockup issues have been resolved.
I understand there are conflicting reports about this. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

I'm still going strong with 1.04, and now 1.05 firmware. THis camera has been flawless so far (the canon raw software has not). And people must remember that. We're basically using computers that are shaped like a 35mm camera with a lens attached. They will lockup from time to time. defordphoto | Celebrating the art of photography®

Nov 15, 2004 17:28 | #5 Thanks for the quick replies so far. Someone told me today that the lockup issue doesn't always show up right away... that it can take months and lots of use before it happens. Has this been the case that you know of? Linda

And I appologize for starting yet another thread... but was hoping to get a synopsis on this issue... which it seems I am getting. I appreciate it very much. Linda
