I know its not a Canon... but in all honesty, the fuji F series is way better than any Canon (EOS excluded) when it comes to high ISO.

I am stoked on this ISO 2000 camera...

it will hold me off until I can get a F100

Haven't given us a lot to care about. If you'd said what, aside from ISO 2000, it does, you might get more responses. Or is it a one-trick horse?

I have a Fuji F10, I LOVED that camera....until I got a Canon 30D....now I have a different opinion. I wanted that camera cuz it was small.....good pictures.....and could actually to action...my son plays hockey....not the greatest pics but they worked. Anyway, we went to a football game the other day and i took both cameras....was going to get out the fuji to take some pics of my son with some of the players......NOT boy was the quality different!!!! I dont mind the camera when I am outside....but wow....I never thought I would say that about my Fuji.....it was by far my best camera.....til now that is lol.....

I have the F40. It's not as hot at high ISO as the F30 but those F30s are getting a cult-like following and therefore overpriced on eBay...and I couldn't find any retailers still stocking them.

Where'd you get yours?

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I am actually very excited to get the F100 when it comes out. ISO 12,800!!! Im sure it will be crap, but I hope 3200 is better than any previous model.

Anyone planning on getting the F100?

I just need a P&S that has good high ISO for when I go out with my friends.

I don't want to carry a 4# camera bag evry time I go out and be "the camera guy"

ya know what I mean?

That's the only reason why I purchased my F30 when it came out. In fact, I had a F20 and upgraded to a F30 for more manual controls :) Cannot be more happier as a DSLR user as far as high ISO performance is concerned. :)

EDIT ==> And yes, it beats any other similar P&S hands down as far as high ISO performance is concerned.

Fuji innovates; I like that. My S5100 takes better pictures than my PowerShot under most circumstances despite being two years older.
