I took these a few months back, but wasn't confident enough to post my stuff. Anyway, what do you think?

All comments, both good and bad welcome.

1st shot is Melrose Abbey, about an hour south of Edinburgh.

2nd shot is of Dryburgh Abbey, a few miles further on from Melrose.

These are both very nicely done. I prefer the second. The composition, lighting and PP make it very moody.

I like the first. The composition seems less cluttered.

I'm torn between the two, but like the PP on #2, never shy away from posting, if you don't feel confident about a picture post it anyway, worse thing to happen is no-one replying to your post, so you forget it and post again :)

Thanks for the comments and encouragement.

Personally I like them both, the 1st, for the dramatic, gothic building, but I love the PP of the 2nd.

All processing was done in Lightroom, by the way, at the time I didn't have a working version of Photoshop available.

Hopefully these wont be the last my image posts.
