According to that page this tripod is only 55.5" so 4' 7", which isn't very tall at all. I'm 6'4" and barely have to bend down to see the camera at all. Also the one your looking at only supports 5.5 pounds, which again isn't much at all. Even if you never plan on using a super tele that is heavy it's always a good idea to have more support than you will need. www.photosbyeric.smugmug.com
