i haven't shot skateboarding with the 50 for awhile now, let me tell it is an awesome lens and probably my new favourite.

Two good action pictures, but why not crop them upright?
If you did I think it would then feature the boarder much more.
The steps on this right do not really help in any way, with out them you would still show the height of the jump.

Skateboarding/Rollerbl​ading/BMX photography is different than any other photography. You want the object being skated being focused on just as much as the rider themselves. This is why it's almost a rule to not touch the dimensions (aside from resizing, of course) of the photo. If you cut out the steps the photo would feel incomplete or lacking in a sense because half of the obstacle being flipped down would be cut off from the photo.

You did a great job with these photos. Keep it up.
