Do I need to buy anyother cables or connector other than what comes with these two to make them work together? How do you connect the pocketwizard units to the camera? I'm gonna order a couple tomorrow, so mights well order everything I need.

Thanks for your time

A receiver connected to the flash. Or you can use a sync cord which defeats the purpose of having a wirless system.

Apologize, I guess I wasn't clear. Does the pocket wizard unit come with the correct cable to connect to the sunpak 383 unit? Do I have to buy an hotshoe adaptor to connect the PW to the Sunpak?

My question arises from seeing this..

I believe you do need that. I just placed an order for a 383 and placed another order at flashzebra for one of these cables.

One unit goes on the camera's hotshoe.

You'll need one of these to connect the other unit to the Sunpak 383:

Works with the cord you got with the pocket wizards.

I like the one cord no funky adaptors ( I was having issues with the solution I worked out) solution. I have 2 of them and neither have failed to date. BTW it is the same cable that the Elcrom skyports use.
