Those look great on my screen!

PhotoImpact is a more user-friendly photo editing program made by ULEAD. Here (external link) is a link. I really like it because it is much easier to use and much more intuitive than PS.

Great job on that series of images Kim. Big difference between your shots from last season. You really got that action nailed down right to the tag. Great follow through. That 30D allows you fire away and follow through. Big step up from the Rebel eh?

Yes it is a HUGE difference in the sequence shots. I have been able to get ALOT of plays like this one. I got a nice run down sequence too, it just isnt as good as this one. I also have my son sliding into home and even though you can't see faces till the last frame, you can see him sliding into the plate, his cleat into the catchers pants and the ball coming out of the catchers glove.. It is amazing the difference between 3 and 5 fps.. BUT, the 3fps helped me get my timing down. I do not have to fire and pray for batters.. I have been getting alot of bat on ball or close this year.

Nice series. If the catcher is your son...tell him to flip his mask out of the way...ball hits it, run scores. Nice sequence, agree, needed some pop in PP

I was never a spray n pray person so I never looked at how many fps were available to me. I try to shoot methodically instead of the machine gun type shooting. You try having to shoot fashion shows all day and only having one 2GB card with you because you left your CF card wallet at home. LOL

No catcher is not my son.. My son is the right fielder, Here is a pic of him. Right field is hard to get with my lens, but this is one of the better ones I have of him. The first one is bad, but it is one of the better ones. I was behind home plate in the bleachers shooting through the fence, he is in Rt field, the fence behind him is 340 feet. So you can estimate about how far I was from this shot. but this is my son!!

Making throw from Rt to home to get the kid out..

If you cropped #1, I would skip that to keep the series in the same aspect ratio. Otherwise, great stuff.

shooting club VB and club soccer, hoping to get back to landscape work soon.

Really nice! Once you get better at the post processing they will really shine.
