Speed Challenge #47 OPEN

One of the hardest things about this comp now is coming up with a new subject so I have chosen for this comp an OPEN Catergory, as I like making my life hard on the judging side .......... Post anything you want, (bar any form of full nudity) and it would be great to see the best image that you have taken..........

Can I also add, for people who just come in to see whats being posted and might like a copy, that pictures entered into this competition are the copyright of the respective photographers, even though most of them do not show a copyright mark, so if you like the pictures you see please contact the photographer as I'm sure they will have no problem selling you a print.

Images submitted should conform to the current forum guidelines (maximum of 1024 pixels on the longest side, and 150Kb for attachments).

This comp is all about having a bit of fun, and I look forward to seeing everyones interpretation of the subject, and good luck.

Posting will end at 12:00am GMT (MIDNIGHT) Saturday April 12, 2008.

Winners will be announced as soon as possible after the contest has closed.

Photo Submissions:
1. Camera -- Any Canon DSLR Camera
2. Time -- any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.

4. Post-Processing -- do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting --* ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & lens used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting -- No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

Jefferson Memorial

Here is a recent photo I am proud of. It's the Jefferson Memorial in Washington D.C. taken at dawn. Exif included.

Taken in the Flordia Everglades a week or so ago. I've been told it's a female Boat Tailed Grackle.

I love Pete's enterpretation, and it should be named............... It failed to "open"

I hate to be a pain, but could you edit your posts to show brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used, as a few of us really want to know how you took your pics......... cheers for that Rob
