Very good. You take a lot of gear with you when walking the dogs.:D
Why the colour cast? I'd prefer b/w.

Nothing decent enough to brag about :D

These are wonderful - almost every shot can stand alone and still show how brutally tough the game can be. Well done.

I like the colour cast - very '60s newspaper style and makes it feel cold, too.

Shutter speed would be nice, what program (if any) did you have it in?

I only bought the 120-300 f2.8 the other day and was trying it out, although it is a lump to carry around, I'd been further along the river hoping to capture some mandarin ducks I'd seen previously, noticed the rugby match in progress on my way back to the car :)

Thanks, shutter speed varied, but around 1/800-1/2500 (the light was very changeable), used a/v and set the aperture to f4, continuous shooting and A1 servo.

Thanks Eric, and yes, it is a fantastic lens, it's so sharp you can cut yourself on it :)

Superb shots! Was it raining in the 1st and 2nd pics? I wonder what it would look like if you slowed down the shutter a tad. No matter, these are excellent!

Great pictures, good action, good focus and the movement has been stopped.

The Duck pictures how did they come out?
