help me pick a cheap telephoto

I use and really like the Canon 75-300.

Shoot at F/8-F/11, and a shutter speed above 1/400 and you will get some great images. I love this lens. You are just getting a temporary lens anyhow, no sense in buying a nice one just to replace it right away. I bought my 75-300 USM III used for $100. It's so cheap that it's not worth selling, and it's nice to have a small, light, compact zoom lens. It's much easier to throw into a small bag for travel than a 70-200.

Find a used EF 100-300 3.5-5.6 if you can. I'm sorry I sold mine.
