Good exposures...don't like the puck blur (?) in the first...and man do I really hate the unis with all the advertising! Way too busy! But I understand that is how most of the bills in the European hockey leagues get paid, so what can you do?

That's pro stuff you got there - well done. You've got a really nice white in all of them - # 2 shows you nailed it.

I agree on the busy comment of the uniforms although I suppose you get used to it.

Nice shots. Exposure and WB looks very good and they are all sharp. I dont
really mind the busy uniforms as I´m used to this european style :D #6 has some
good action going on but for me it does not work as I cant see players faces.
Other angle would work better for that kind of shots. Anyways, well done.

Huludical : nice. huge hockey fan here so i really appreciate these. good job.

Thanks, Glad you like them...

cstewart : Good exposures...don't like the puck blur (?) in the first...and man do I really hate the unis with all the advertising! Way too busy! But I understand that is how most of the bills in the European hockey leagues get paid, so what can you do?

I thought about discarding this shot No: 1 because of the location of the puck, but I wanted to show my editor how dangerous it can be for us photographers...get some danger money :D (Didnt work ) Thanks for looking...

emurph2 : Very nice!! I thought I was looking at Nascar for a minute with those uniforms. DOUBLE OUCH on #5!!!!!

Good job these guys where boxes......

Thanks I@m trying to break into the pro ranks and am learing fast...especially with such experienced guys on this forum. I found a nice tip for getting the white right. Get someone to hold a grey card on the ice and shoot it. Import this into your PP software and take the WB from it and sync it across all photos....

Cdellama : Nice pictures. Those uniforms make me dizzy

Thank you . . .

curtc : ouch! #5 makes me cringe!

Me too !!!

Semmonka : Nice shots. Exposure and WB looks very good and they are all sharp. I dont really mind the busy uniforms as I´m used to this european style #6 has some good action going on but for me it does not work as I cant see players faces.

Thanks..I agree with the angle on No 6, but i still liked it, I would have prefered faces but it seemed to be one of thoes games where no matter where I was, the action wasnt or was facing the other way....

FOR ALL:

Its interesting to see the different opinions on the uniforms, for me it seems normal as I see nothing else.

I love the colours and advertising on the jerseys, socks and helmet, looks pretty nice compared to the plain old school jerseys,

well maybe cause I play roller more than ice now and it's pertty much the norm for most of the jerseys and pants to be sponsored
