Just wanted to let all of you know that the Savage FT-150 Strobe lights do not have a seperate Speed Ring, You have to buy their soft box and if you have a problem with the ring, they don't have a replacement.
I talked to both Adorama and the Savage company and neither one had a solution except to buy their soft boxes.
I bought two of them from Adorama and I am trying to get them to take them back. It is a shame because I liked the lights but I have soft boxes and I am not buy more just for the heck of it.

Can you post a picture of what the FT-150 reflector looks like? Maybe a aftermarket speedring can be found in eBay.

Lotto, I talked to Adorama and they are sending me a slip to return the lights. I don't want light that is that hard to find a ring for. I have AB1600's but I was jsut wanting a good low powered strobe for hair and background. I am going to look and see what else I can find. I wanted a decent built light weight strobe, these are built well but they are on the heavy side.
Thanks for the suggestion and help but I think I will just return them.
