Hi everybody...I'll take a plane tomorrow and I can only carry an hand bag. Is it ok to bring a tripod??
I Can't leave without my tripod but I can't even embark it!!

If its in the hold of the plane or in your bag. Unless your good at sneaking it through, maybe sit it ontop of your camera bag in a bag?

The problem it's not the weight or the size of the tripod (which is located in a bag), but the tripod it self. I'm worried that it might be considered as a dangerous item!

Well all i know is one airport made me place a monopod down my pants leg simply because "If we can see it we have to take it"

I threw mine in with my clothes and checked it.
