Were is the G6 manufactured?

Were do they make the g6 : Japan, Tawain, etc.

Just curious it kinda got me thinking, my Elan is the only piece of Canon gear made in Tawain the remainder of my gear is made in Japan.

I thought all of the G series were made in Japan. Heck even the higher A series are made in Japan. The last G6 I held in my hand at Best Buy was made in Japan.
