My first attempt at freshman baseball with 30D+70-200/2.8L. Not a lot of action in these, I know, but interested in general comments if any. Thanks...

Did you shoot at f5.6 or more? The background is too much of a distraction. Open that f2.8 L up and see the difference. ;)
