Chris you lazy b'stard. MSM web site awaits the finest selection of Chris Bennett shots imported from around the world (or Otago at least). Get to it or I will beat you up - or worse still, I'll put Moppie onto you - he's got 'short man syndrome'.

i cant get the bloody thing to upload..

i am endeavoring to do this now thou..

so watch this space...

and moppie's issue is not a syndrome - he is short.... :p

(you may get an email soon for a list of how too's)

With just a hint of cheese I suspect.....(the tagline that is)

Go on, I know you watched the trailer, admit it!

ps - why am I the Ultra Conservative Armish Mother who be huntin' y'all down for butter churning completion.. ?

Look at this way, Chris, Tony and I are about as likely to be strippers as you are Armish.
We all know Tony has experiance working with his cloths off.

ooh found this on website today - its me at work...

Where?
All I see is a pine tree wearing a safety vest.

Hmm. OK, so what do I do in my Vee when I come off the brakes, go back on the gas and nothing happens for a few seconds? :D ;)

(Do you still remember how a carburettor works? Seems most mechanics these days don't - hehe)

Don't worry Mopster, I still love you.

I love you too Cliff, no, really I do ;)

I know what a carburettor is, and how they work. I have two of them in my Honda thank you very much. :p:p
There is even an old bit of pipe in my tool box that I used to use to balance the Stromberg's on the Triumph, and the Webber copies on the Lynx.

Speaking of Stromberg's, I wonder how many people can strip and clean a Stromberg in the dark, in the rain?
I can think of one other who might be able to.

went out with camera this morning, was going to shoot autumn leaves, which i did... but i also found about 30 of these in the same area so i was grovelling around in the lead mould for awhile... (all taken with 17-55 @ f/2.8, no flash)

this one's my favourite even tho the snails have half eaten it, just because i was trying catch the beautiful morning sunlight, and i did :)

I love those shrooms. They have a fairy tale feel to them.

Don't get me started on Porsche, I could rant away for pages and pages.

Yip, I have more experiance than the average person when it comes to automobiles.
I have worked for a NZ Lotus and Classic car specialist, I have done all my own work on all my own cars for the past 15 years, and I have spent several seasons as service crew on a Rally Car. I've also been involved in car clubs, and I have been moderating car forums for nearly 10 years.
So while I might make the odd mistake with my geography, when it comes to cars, I do know what I am talking about.

If you like I can bore everyone to death with an explanation of what makes a hair dressers car.

Please don't.
Ours doesn't have fluffy dice, extra air intakes, It's the standard height, there are no Kenwood stickers anywhere, No recaro seats or 3 or 4 point belts, no spoiler and no Fat exhaust pipr. Oh and the makeup mirrir is also standard. .... Still a hairdressers golf?

Well the good news is your nor a Chav

I thought yours was a company car?

The ultimate hair dressers car was the MGB.
Lots of heritage, good looking, but it was all only skin deep.
Underneath they were very basic, and the performance, was well, more of a marketing ploy than a reality.

So long and thanks for all the flash

Evening all
Took a few hours off this afternoon to watch the kids cross-country. Beautiful day for it. All I can say about the run is they run better than I can take photo's of moving objects.

Here's a couple, the first one got a bit of "6 million dollar woman" pose to it:rolleyes:

oh i forgot this... -

what the one thing you really don't want to do as a '00' rally car driver ?

(for those who don't know the '00' is the course sweeper and tends to let everyone know that the cars are on the circuit etc - a safety car if you will .....)

yep park it shinny side don in a ditch with all for wheels pointing at the sky.... thats the second time in 4 years he has done this too... - the first attempt involved a barrel role to the right when the road went left........ luckily a tree was in the way by all accounts...

so there could be a vacancy for a 00 driver next year... own car required now as they have run out...

We owned an MGB (mid 1960s model) in the late 70s, soft top, wire wheels, oil leaks, ahhh, I remember it well. Great to drive around Canterbury in the summer with the top down, had to wrap up in winter though, with the top up and the heater on.
