Todays Piha surf report

A Macca pulse of west / southwest swell this AM and over next 24 hours strong gale force northwest / westerlies out to sea so a wild west coast washing machine. Breaking miles out 8 to 15 ft plus the biggest swell for years. A south / southeast change for Thursday.

Begin Rant

Ok we all know that the cost of living has gone up. Fuel, food, power etc. We all know that wages have not. So been thinking of how to trim costs. 1 of the things that bugs me is the amount of money we pay in insurances i.e life insurance. Works out around $250 per month.

So do we need it? Does anyone here know of anyone who has claimed it?

Also asking the question about 1 very expensive 1Dsmk3 compared to a 5D

End Rant

I use Giclee on the north shore... slightly cheaper than Canvart :)
But as mentioned a few pages ago - I certainly wont be getting client prints done at Digital Max - the quality is pretty poor really... especially when i have others to compare it to.. Typically they reckon its only a 10 business day wait. With this promo I expected a week or two longer, but not the 6 weeks it took for ours to arrive...

Life insurance is just that.. life insurance.. its not something you would likely claim on until you or your wife pass on.

It sets your kids and wife up so they dont have the burden of paying a mortgage while dealing with grief (typically your policy will have it paid off), along with other things such as funeral expenses etc.

If you feel your family dont "need" to be taken care of if you pass away, then by all means cancel it..

In saying that though I had a quote for life insurance that I dont think was anywhere near that high.. perhaps you should shop around.

Oh that sounds worth checking out, my daughter wants some bubs prints for her wall but we are both on very tight budgets. Like most people .
Do they have a site? I tried giclee.co.nz but its not that.
