Woot! New car parts arrived today!

* Stainless manifold ( these are f'n beautiful!! looks like it should be a table centrepiece or something)
* T3T4 Turbo ( eeek.. it's big)
* T3T4 'zorst flange
* DPR 38mm wastegate (oooh shiny red)
* Turbo install kit
* Turbo-I/C silicone pipe

Sure, it cost a king's ransom but it was cheaper than buying genuine parts. I am installing on saturday, will take pictures as it goes

(please note the gratuitous photography reference at end of post)

Canon EOS

By the way, I am pi**ed that I won't even be allowed to chose what lightbulbs I want to use with a year or so.

I'm such a cynic. But I know you love me anyway.

What Duncan said...

"we're very sorry sir, there are no known problems on our network" ;)

The known network no longer exists...

who has experience with either the 1.4 or 2.0 extender and 70-200 F2.8L?

I'm thinking I may get one for a sports exchange next week

Bring a brolly or a huge plastic bag -- according to the weather blokes it is going to be pissing like there was no tomorrow...

Hello Ladies, How's life? ;)

Gidday beautiful lass;) How many bricks have we sold today?

In other news, 2 months till Brissy, (though, I almost scammed a ticket to the Bledisloe this weekend.. ), 2 and a bit months till Paris, Rome and Tuscany. 11 months till the boat cruise around Spain and Greece, and a tad more till Hawaii.
(I'm so gonna have to eat all my words if it all turns to the proverbial custard)

And I just scored a 300k contract for work. W00t, at least when I leave, I go out with a bang :D

And still doing Architectural shooting, too :)

Remember, no pics and it didn't happen;)

Friend wants me to take some photos at his game - any tips/recommendations?

If its this weekend... bring rain gear!

Anyway, back to more important stuff. If any of you Aucklanders haven't got anything usefull to do tomorrow afternoon, you are more than welcome to lend a hand/shovel/drive a wheelbarrow at my place tomorrow afternoon. 2.5 meters of concrete to be wheelbarrowed & placed.:cry:

Have fun! I hope it doesn't rain though...

None, I'd go for soft grad (unless you're talking Australian landscapes in the desert).

How did you know what I wanted to do? but which one?

You get your body('s)?

Body = evidence.
If the shrimper did his job properly there won't be any evidence left. :cool:

If you had to choose, which one? 0.3, 0.6 or 0.9 hard graduated ND?

Buy all three so you can cover all the bases. I tend to use only my soft grads for landscape stuff, but 'hard' grads do have a use if you have a distinct line of reference.

If I had only one to chose, it'd be the two stop (simply because it's the middle of the range and is likely to be 'ok' for most situations.

Sometimes three stop is nowhere near enough either, but mid-range can't be too bad a choice.

Of course, I'm full of crap and know nothing about photography, so feel free to ignore what I've been saying.

You bloody boy racers.....I don't know. More money in them there cars than....ah, well, um, something that normally has a lot of money put into it.

I hope it actually makes your car work more efficiently and that you don't cause more noise and air pollution..... Actually, screw that, as long as it makes it evens faster!

Then you can beat me in my crappy L300 to the next set of lights 100m down the road, cool!

Eagerly awaiting photos of said items mounted in said ride.

I was kinda thinking that would have been my role:rolleyes:

I'll just write a note & get No 1 son off school for the afternoon (its for him anyway, basketball pad). Hmmm 2.5 meters @ 20 barrows per meter, thats going to wear a bit of a track in the grass.

John: weather is GOING TO BE GOOD tomorrow afternoon.:confused:

Yeah I do, to shoot some waves with you. (How romantic....)

Hang on, I need to check that I'm not missing my favourite TV program, or that my cousin's next door neighbours former room-mate's ex girlfriend isn't having a party that I'm not invited to.

PM me and let's sort it Mr Searle!
