My Sigma 10-20mm was damaged while travelling in Nepal recently.

For the purpose of travel insurance I'm just wondering where I can get a quote to get it fixed. I'm based on the West Coast.

The lens was dropped and the lens doesn't mount the camera properly and the aperture settings no long work.

Cheers

Mate, last weekend we stood like a bunch of idiots in a house that probably had AIDS, falling over each other's shots, it doesn't have to be some big cool event that's all well organised or publicised to take good photos.

I realise that, but you did have models to point your cameras at. I know I can simply go for a wander in the forest and snap birdies, or go to the beach or whatever, but 1, I don't really have the time to walk around looking for pretty scenes etc and 2, landscapes and all that simply isnt inspiring me. I am wanting to practice either action shots or model shots or lighting really.

I think the hours I have been pulling lately have also contributed to my lack of inspiration.

Yikes, I'd almost guess It's UTR'ed. Most camera shops should be able to send it away for you or at least do a report for you.

I would send it to Canon NZ.
Any insurance repair work will be carried out there anyway.

I take that as a compliment. Regarding the 'god' comment, it I really had any power, I'd make the temperature here about 30 degrees cooler.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

It's about that point, I'd lean forward and put my head on the chopping block. :p

When you lot do your editing, do you do a save for print version of your images? (Yes I know LR lets you save the metadata and export when you need to). If you do, what size print and resolution do you keep saved?

Cheers, Dave.
