Just as a little comment ,

I'd like to say a huge thanks to you guys for your comments and kind words lately. I had been feeling really down and really rather disheartened with my photography lately. After the photoshoot in the Abandoned house , it's really given me the boost I've needed just talking to some of you.

So , with heart felt sincerity ...

Thank you.

Geez, Flick... you have better pics than I do... you get out and take pics more than I do... you even have a web-site... don't be too hard on yourself. Photography is like life... it has cycles... you just have to go with it...

Can you imagine how bummed Dave would have been if he sold all his gear when he first moved to NZ in December;)

Good on ya for hanging on!

John;)

Believe... Work hard... and it will happen!

Very cool pic Serra... Can't say the same about the kid's name... I've always believed that giving your child a proper name is a life-long gift... but that's just me...

Interesting... Briahna ( said Bree-arna) or Brianna is quite a popular name :)

A bunch of Canon bits and pieces.

This is a interesting test:

I got a 20 on a uncalibrated monitor in a bright room. Probably better in a dimmly lit area.

And Dave's favorite quote, "im about to pull the trigger on a 50mm 1.4 lens, any thoughts"

*Blind fury* :(

The phrase itself doesn't bother me, I just find it a bit stupid, what it signifies and it's blanket use does. If you can't say the word 'N a z i' on here without it being censored due to it being culturally insensitive (fair point I guess if you're playing it safe, though I suspect anyone or most cultures actually involved with those goings on are largely past it now) then how can you be allowed to throw away the phrase "pulling the trigger" about buying something when its routes are blatantly linked to gun crime and the dumbing down of its existance, particularly when it seems to be banded about largely by the occupants of a country who's heavy death toll due to guns seems linked heavily with the ignorance to them.

Drives me nuts.

Dude, seriously. I know exactly why you get down about stuff and photography, fairly well documented my own issues with that, but I say it again, your stuff though still developing at a fair rate of knots is very, very good. I feel hugely endebted to you and Phloss for the shoot the other weekend, and appreciate it loads.

I'm glad that we as a bunch can help, and personally, whether you ever use it or not, I offer the extension of that out further and further. :)

I was there a bit early

and there wasn't going to be any left by the time he came on duty - so we washed up all the dishes and made it look like there wasn't any ice cream...

Have you ever considered the possibility that you might be over thinking somethings to the point of absurdity?

Caught.

I walked into work today and got a big "happy birthday", the one of the fulfillment team started whistling the tune under his breath when I walked into the warehouse. At about 2 a large bunch of flowers showed up from Amanda, then work puts on an afternoon tea for everyone's birthday, so that was the start of the chips and cake, and just got back from a very good dinner with my parents which involved lots of good Indian and more cake.

Now I find a forum filled with virtual cake (and apparently there was ice cream  ).

So far not a bad birth day really, definitely a good way to celebrate being 21 +/- the odd decade.

Cheers guys :cool::cool::cool::cool:

So long and thanks for all the flash
