Ahh see I hear you and I looked at that and dismissed it, I tried the crop and found it less balanced in my eyes with the boats on the left.
Also a lot of my shots are left or right biased, I wanted this to be centre weighted and I think it works personally.

I have no problem with your idea though.

Ive heard people also comment its learning how the servo works, and once they learned to use it properly it worked much better, but acted differently. I have not experienced any of this but I have read this comment a couple of times from others.

i had mine looked at and it was 'fixed' - i am still not 100% happy thou.. and if by acting differently you mean it does not track and focus then yep mine did that,,,,

Nice work Brent, starting to mix up the styles a bit for 365 eh? Doesn't have as much of the trademark bright sunshine vs hard flash look. Much softer, and yes, sexier - all works very well.

I don't think my wee 20D was a fan of the moisture in the air this morning.
I had error 99, error CF, and the display is wont stay solid on..

*mild state of panic*

It's in the hot water cupboard right now, to see if that helps..
I was planning to be at Clendon tomorrow at 6am to do my ABstract shoot

That's why I kept my 350D so I can use it as a backup camera.

Yes - I was a little slow on the upkeep.
I don't know, I reckon 3 hours sleep last night, and about the same the night prior maaay have had something to do with my lethargy towards 'now or never' shots

Or perhaps it's because I don't know how to stand still for more than 5 seconds.

Or perhaps, I'm just a bit more of a fossil than I will admit to myself

BTW - that shot works really well with Rangitoto and the sunrise!
