Flowers in the studio

And by studio I mean in front of a black piece of foam board. All shots are lit with 430EX bounced off one or two pieces of white foam board. Lens is 100mm macro. All C&C is welcome.

Nice shots. I really like the Gerber daisies and the rose. Did you take any of the daisy from any other angles? Would love to see them if you did.

Excellent shots! I have always liked really colorful subjects against a black background, especially flowers. They look great!

The hospital where my wife works has poster size prints framed throughout the hospital of single flowers shot against a black background. I have spent lots of time walking the halls and admiring those photos. Yours remind me of those shots. Keep up the good work.

Thanks all for your kind comments. The "flowers on dark background" is something I've always wanted to try, and it turns out it is really easy.

I've seen posters like that before, they were part of the inspiration for these shots.
