Hey that is not true!! Every kid that even thinks of playing sports dreams of the 'BIG" Game. The World Series, The World Cup, The Stanley Cup etc. It is always down by a few points/goals/runs - you get the ball/puck etc. You score the winning shot - the crowd goes WILD!!!!

I like both of your image for two reasons first they are good technically, second it is YOUR KID!! He's got all the gear on and he ready to go. Imagination is what it all about. Those muskles need excersise just like math!!

Nice shots...

ha, street hockey is definitely a sport. I played more of that as a kid than anything else. That first shot is great.

How could that NOT be a sport? It has all the required elements.... there's a team, ball, a goal, uniforms, equipment ........

+2 on the first shot... it's priceless .... refrigerator worthy at minimum... I'd put it in a frame!

40D and kit 28-135, Rebel XT and kit 18-55, 50 1.8, 85 1.8, Sigma 70-200 2.8, 430 EX, and a never ending wish list....

He played hockey this year and is missing it already. We pretty much killed the garage door already! Here is the uncropped version of that first pic. He just loves Roberto Luongo lol. I just loved shooting hockey this year. I am lucky he is novice so I can grow with him

Great shots....

I think it's "NHL" hockey that's not a sport anymore. Or at least that's the what it's like here in the states.

(I'm just a bitter Hartford Whalers fan. Don't mind me.)

LoL,
We are Vancouver Canucks fans here....I still can't talk about it. lol. Its funny cos we live in a town that has junior hockey team, the closest NHL team is about a four hr drive. I find the junior teams are just as much fun or more to watch these days.

I think it is, I think every kid in Canada grows up playing it. I guess I meant organized sport.
