I seem to be having trouble , can anyone shed some light on how you would know besides the obvious ..that a video card is failing .My Monitor keeps loosing its color to make oranges look green reds look purple ..
Just today when I posted a shot the sky looked funny it use to be clear it was a used before shot then when I looked at even more photos of others they all looked kinda funky .Like haloed and arched rings in the sky. I tried everything I can think of with the monitor which is newish ..a LCD flatscreen type .The PC is new also well newish 2 yrs old maybe .
One more thing if it is a video card ..Which would you get to replace it .

what kind of connection are you using?

DVI?
SVGA?

older "Pin" connections do go out after time from movement. I've had my DVI connection for about 4 years now with no problems.

I would start by replacing the cable first then move to the card.

have you tried to remove that hardware in the device manager and re installed the device driver? there ALWAYS is that possiblilty that spyware/adware/trojans/worms can affect the way your hardware drivers function.. try that too
