Shot another HSFL game last weekend, the North Houston Jaguars vs the Northwest Cougars. No wonder they call these young men 'select players'. Both quarterbacks had mini canons for arms, and I swear I was watching a Hagler/Hearns boxing match by all hits they traded throughout the game.

Thanks for looking,
-Sonny

Sonny... what is HSFL?? The first one is my favorite... but I'm kinda partial to the RB's.

I just upgraded from an XT to a 40D ... I've been playing with it some in soccer/baseball but I can't wait to get it on a REAL football field. We've got spring practice coming up in May... I'm afraid that is as close as I'll get until August. :(

40D and kit 28-135, Rebel XT and kit 18-55, 50 1.8, 85 1.8, Sigma 70-200 2.8, 430 EX, and a never ending wish list....

Could be.... I was guessing Houston Spring Football League or Houston Select Football League ????

I'm JEALOUS!!! Over here in GA the concept of football at any level in the spring is completely foreign, especially at the high school level. Our high school association allows two weeks of 'spring practice' and that's it for organized practices until August. We'll be in the weight room and running or doing agility drills all summer but we can't put on pads or run plays until August.

:D, y'all were close. HSFL = Houston Select Football League. The players are 10-12 years of age. Since most middle schools do not have a lot of money to invest in off season programs, this league gives them a chance to sharpen their skills and stay in shape.

Thanks for the comments!

That may be true but the QB still has to know how to read the defense and throw with accuracy.:D
